All my work is made mostly with Semi-Precious Stones. Jade is a stone I love to use and also Turquoise . I like to use materials I find striking and unique, creating something on the bold side. Carnelian is a favorite, I love it’s deep strong color. Amethyst and Tibetan coral are wonderful beads and of course Bone. Most are tied with waxed linen, a few with wire and all the clasps I make by hand with bone. I use silver, gold and brass findings and I use some old Chinese coins from time to time. I like to use Pearls, Agate and Shells and in a few pieces I’ve used Tibetan carved bone. It is always a joy to see how these pieces come together on the bench. I really have no pre thought on how the pieces will be made, no plan or drawing, It’s spontaneous, like dancing. Please enjoy your visit.
